Craftsman Wood Balusters
Craftsman Wood Balusters

allstairs.net has a complete line of Craftsman balusters including 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" balusters in both round and square profiles with numerous details. Of course, these spindles are an excellent choice for Mission or Craftsman style balustrades but they are often combined with wrought iron balusters to create infinite new design possibilities. Make certain to consider the size of the bottom of your handrail when selecting between 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" balusters because some handrails will not accomodate the larger size. As always please don't hesitate to contact one of our Stair Professionals if you have any questions.  We offer these balusters in numerous stock wood species which you can see by clicking the "Wood Wheel" here  or on any of our product pages.

More about our wood balusters

AllStairs.net works out of a 20,000 square foot facility and has all the equipment need to turn any type of baluster.  With the ability to customize any baluster you see on our site there are so many ways you can take a basic baluster and turn it into a truly unique piece.  One of the most common request with our balusters is to add an fluted element to the baluster.  This will give it a more unique look and feel.  We carry our craftsman balusters in 1 ¼” and 1 ¾” sizes.  These are the two most commonly used sizes in US construction.

The craftsman spindles are the most basic designs we have.  Our 100 model spindle is just a square baluster.  Nothing added to it.  We also have the 100c baluster.  This has had a chamfered detail added to it.  Same goes for the 100f except it has had two fluted elements added through the middle of the baluster.  If you have a particular dimension you would like this elements added to our balusters contact us before ordering so we can accommodate your request.

Our traditional balusters come in a pin top or a square top.  As you can see from the pictures you can see the difference.  The bottom of the baluster is going to be the same size but the top will be different.  This should be taken into account when you are ordering fillet for your project.  This will keep you from ordering too much fillet.  Our pen top balusters tend to be more elegant than the square top spindles.  One of the advantages of choosing to go with a pin top over a square top is that is tends to give a more open look feeling.

We can add a flute to any of the balusters you see on our site.  We can also adjust the base and the top of the wood balusters.  We offer top quality spindles with expert advice if you need it. Our stair specialists have many years of experience.  We can guide your through the purchasing process.  IF you need a professional to install your balustrade we can provide you with a qualified professional.  We are truly your one stop shop for all things stair parts.
